Farmer arrested for crossing the Nadali Containment area

A 38-year-old farmer who crossed the Nadali Containment area and came into Nausori Town has been taken into police custody.

Acting Police Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says 11 people were arrested over the last 24-hours for breaching health related restrictions and curfew orders.

5 people were arrested after they were found drunk at the Suva Yacht Club area.

4 cases were recorded in the Southern Division. 2 men were found drunk in Caubati while two farmers were found loitering along the Delainavesi area during curfew hours.

A 52-year-old man was found driving without a pass in the Votualevu area in Nadi.
