A family from Nausori escaped serious injuries after their vehicle veered off the road and landed in a cassava plantation at Nakorovou near Yarawa along the Queens Highway.
A woman was taken to the Navua Hospital while the driver and two other passengers escaped unharmed.
Police say it is alleged that the driver was fatigued which caused the accident.
Police investigations continue.
