A resident of River Drive in Pacific Harbour has raised serious concerns regarding house break-ins.

Steve Kayes says four houses were broken into last night.

Kayes says thieves took $700 from a villa. He says the occupant of the house was alerted about the incident and confronted the thief.

He says valuables were also stolen from his residence.

Kayes adds residents are working out strategies to solve the issue.

Police say they have received two reports of break-ins and two reports of attempted break-ins from the area.

No arrests have been made.
