FRU seeks dialogue with Sports Minister
Dialogue is the way to go.

That is now the stand of the Fiji Rugby Union Board as it tries to have a meeting with the Sports Minister, Filipe Bole to resolve the differences that have emerged following the FRU World Cup lottery issue.

Yesterday the Chairman of the FRU Board, Bill Gavoka stepped aside from the position although he remained on the FRU board.

Fijivillage has received confirmation that the board of the FRU has resolved to commence dialogue with the government in respect to its demands.

Minister Filipe Bole has made it clear that the government will only give the FRU $3M for the Fiji team's Rugby World Cup preparation and participation if a new administration came in.

Bole maintained to Fijivillage yesterday that if the current executives have rugby at heart then they will do this.
