The Fiji Rugby Union is now seeking answers from the International Rugby Board on whether it will allow the NZ government to dictate and enforce which players will make the Fiji 15's team to the Rugby World Cup in September.
FRU Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said the NZ government is directly interfering in the Fiji team selection and is stopping Fiji from sending the best team through the travel sanctions.
Colonel Tikoitoga said the IRB should take the necessary action now.
Colonel Tikoitoga also said that Fiji may not send the National 7s team to the NZ and Australia 7s next year if the travel sanctions remain in place.
