FRIEND Fiji continues to receive requests for masks and sanitisers from schools.

CEO and Founder Sashi Kiran says they currently have 80 pending requests from schools in Lau, Namosi, Naitasiri, Vanua Levu, Nadroga and Ra.

Kiran says school managements have written to them stating that parents are poor and cannot afford to buy recycled masks or even regular masks and sanitisers.

She says they have realised that disposable masks can fit secondary school students however it does not fit primary and pre-school students.

Kiran adds they are in the process of sourcing and purchasing masks for younger students.

She says they will eventually start making masks for secondary school students as it is expensive to go with disposable masks in the long run.

Kiran says they are also trying to work with parents.

School managers can email friend@connect.com.fj if they are in need of masks and sanitisers.

If you want to assist these schools, you can contact FRIEND Fiji on 8983183 or friend@connect.com.fj
