FRIEND Fiji has so far assisted 876 families with food rations this month who are unemployed due to COVID-19 in the West.

CEO and Founder Sashi Kiran says they continue to assist people that used to work in the tourism sector and are affected by the pandemic.

Kiran says the majority of this assistance goes to families in Nadi and some in Lautoka.

Kiran says they continue to receive requests from families who used to be employed but are no longer employed.

If you would like to provide assistance to help the families, you can get the details on our Hands Across Fiji section of our website, fijivillage.

If you want to assist these families, you can contact FRIEND Fiji on 8983183 or friend@connect.com.fj
