The Fiji Roads Authority says it will work with what it has been allocated and will emphasize on public safety and doing repairs to damaged assets.

These are the words of FRA CEO Jonathan Moore after the announcement of the 2019/2020 National Budget.

Moore says they were hoping for more budget allocation.

Moore says they have a lot of bridge work to do as there are many bridges around Fiji which are in bad condition and they also have a lot of footpaths to build.

Fiji Roads Authority has been allocated $416.4 million in the 2019-2020 National Budget which is a $143.7 million decrease from the previous National Budget.
