The Fiji Roads Authority will have a one week trial period in August or September to see how the public reacts to the possibility of opening up two lanes along Edinburgh Drive in the mornings going down to Suva and one lane coming from Suva.
FRA CEO Jonathan Moore confirmed this after Fijivillage put to FRA whether this can be a possibility to ease the morning traffic jams.
He says they will be looking at other traffic congestion areas where the same three lane concept can apply.
