FNU announces phased reopening of campuses

Only fully vaccinated students and staff will be allowed to enter campuses

FNU announces phased reopening of campuses
FNU Vice-Chancellor Professor Toby Wilkinson.

Fiji National University’s Vice-Chancellor, Toby Wilkinson says they will be implementing a phased reopening of their campuses from next Monday and students and staff who have been fully vaccinated or who have proof that they have been granted exemption from vaccination will be permitted to enter FNU premises.

Wilkinson says most learning, teaching and assessments are expected to remain online for the rest of this semester.

He says a return to campus will be phased with students who need to complete practical assignments that cannot be done online. Wilkinson says if students fall into one of these groups, they will be contacted by their departments.

Wilkinson says similar arrangements are being made for staff whereby a return to campus will be phased and only for staff who are required to provide learning and teaching services and selected student-facing support services.
