FMF completes electric vehicle training to drive Fiji’s clean transport future

A week-long Electric Vehicle (EV) training programme conducted by the FMF Group of Companies has been successfully completed, marking a significant step in advancing Fiji's transition towards sustainable transport solutions.

Led by international automative consultant, Leon, a veteran with over 20 years of experience in China's automobile industry, the programme focused on EV technologies, marketing strategies, after-sales service, and model specificiations, drawing on China's world-leading experience in electric vehicle development.

Leon says China's success in scaling EV adoption offers valuable lessons for emerging markets like Fiji, and that FMF's proactive approach and commitment to excellence demonstrate the Pacific's readiness to embrace this global transition.

FMF Managing Director and CEO Sanjay Punja says the training not only enhances the technical expertise and operational readiness, but also reinforces their commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future for Fiji.

Punja says FMF is proud to be part of the region’s shift towards modern, low-emission transport solutions.
