Suva and Nadi played out a 1-all draw in a tense FMF Inter-District Championship match at the 4R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba, this afternoon.

Nadi took the lead in the first half through a well-placed goal from Mohammed Solayman, giving them a 1-nil advantage going into the break.

However, Suva came back strongly in the second half, with Merrill Nand equalising for his team.

Nadi had a goal disallowed after Afraz Ali was ruled to have touched the ball.

Nadi coach Shalen Lal says the boys played much better than yesterday.

Lal says the players listened to his advice.

Meanwhile Lautoka head coach, Ravinesh Kumar says the team lost their concentration and started giving away possession in crucial moments of the match against Suva.

This comes after Lautoka finished their first pool match against Suva with a 1-1 draw.

will face defending champions Labasa at 6pm this evening while Ba will meet Nadroga at 8pm. Rewa is currently leading Navua 1-0.
