FMF IDC: Labasa roars into semi final with 2-0 win over Lautoka

Defending champions Labasa have booked their place in the semi-finals of the FMF Inter-District Championship 2025 after a commanding 2–0 victory over Lautoka in their Group A encounter at 4R Stadium, Govind Park in Ba.

Labasa took control of the match in the 39th minute when Jimson Abana scored a goal giving his side a 1-nil advantage heading into the break.

The Babasiga Lions extended their advantage in the second half with a penalty from Lekima Gonerau in the 57th minute.

Labasa held their composure for the remainder of the match, keeping Lautoka at bay and securing a crucial three points that ensure their progression to the semi-finals as they continue their title defence.
