Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has beaten Lionel Messi and Mohammed Salah to the Best FIFA Men’s Player award.

Lewandowski has now won the award for 2 seasons in a row.

The 33-year-old has barely let up his remarkable goalscoring form since, scoring a stunning 51 goals in 45 games for club and country in the qualifying time for the award.

He helped Bayern win the FIFA Club World Cup in February last year and the club to yet another Bundesliga title in the same season.

Meanwhile Tottenham’s Erik Lamela has won the Puskas award for his rabona strike against Arsenal last season.

This award is given to the best goal of the year.
