FICAC has withdrawn its case against former Sun Insurance CEO Lolesh Sharma.
FICAC lawyer Sam Savumiramira made the application to discontinue the case this morning and it was granted by Magistrate Waleen George.
FICAC has been unable to locate Lolesh Sharma since the case was brought to court.
It was earlier confirmed in court that Sharma has left the country.
Sharma allegedly attempted to hinder or interfere with the free exercise or performance of the political right of the employees of Sun Insurance Limited that is relevant to the 2018 general elections.
