FICAC confirms that it has received a letter of complaint by a Alexandra Forwood against the Chair of the Electoral Commission, Barbara Malimali yesterday.

FICAC says the complaint by Forwood will go through due process like any other complaints received by FICAC and the complainant will be notified on the outcome of the complaint in due course.

In her complaint letter which was also sent to the Prime Minister and Chair of the Constitutional Offices Commission, Forwood says Electoral Commission member, Reginald Jokhan admitted to her via messages that other commission members were not aware of the letter written by Malimali that was delivered on the 2nd of April.

When contacted this afternoon, Jokhan confirmed that the Electoral Commission members had no idea that a letter was written on the 2nd of April by the Chair of the Electoral Commission.

He says he saw the contents of the letter after requesting to sight it, and it is being blown out of proportion.

Jokhan admits there was no discussion that a letter was to be written and there was no discussion in the commission meeting that Graham Leung should be appointed as Supervisor of Elections.
