The Fijian Elections Office has packed a total of 2,155 ballot boxes including pre-poll ballot boxes for this year’s general elections.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says the ballot boxes for the Northern and Western Divisions have been delivered and the only ones left to be delivered are for the Central Division.
Saneem adds that they have finished packing the ballot boxes for the Central Division and they will be delivering them as early as Sunday evening.
The Supervisor stressed that the Fijian Elections Office is days ahead ready for the general elections compared to the 2014 election where the last ballot box was packed 2 days before elections.
