The Fiji Development Bank is the first corporate organisation to implement the Pacific Recycling Foundation's 'I Recycle Hub program' in partnership with USAID's Clean Cities Blue Oceans program in Fiji and the Pacific.

FDB Chief Executive Officer, Saud Minam says this is a significant milestone for an organisation that has served Fiji for a very long time, and they are willing to support communities with whatever aid they receive.

Minister for Housing and Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa says it is very important for people to know that solid waste is a critical issue and we have an important role to play in our communities.

Nalumisa says we need to come together and ensure that we have a cleaner and safer environment.

Meanwhile, Pacific Recycling Foundation Founder and Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited CEO, Amitesh Deo says this will give them an opportunity to inculcate best practices of proper waste management.
