Close to 2000 visitors from FANCA countries came for the FANCA Silver Jubilee Nations World Cup that finished at Prince Charles Park yesterday.

This was highlighted by Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while speaking at the finals.

Sayed-Khaiyum says apart from the competition, the tournament provided a great opportunity for all, in particular, the overseas participants to reconnect with friends and families and visit parts of Fiji, where they originally came from.

Fiji won the tournament defeating New Zealand 1-0 in the final.
