You can expect heavy rain if you are living in Suva, Nausori, Korovou, Tailevu, the Coral Coast, Pacific Harbour and Navua until Monday as a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the southern parts of Fiji

The Nadi Weather Office says the heavy rain alert also remains in force for Kadavu, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group.

They say this weather system is expected to continue to enhance.

You are being urged to prepare for flash flooding if you live in low lying and flood prone areas while flooding of small rivers, creeks and roads, poor visibility on roads in areas of heavy rain for drivers and reduced visibility at sea is also anticipated.

The Nadi Weather Office says from tomorrow rain can become frequent and heavy with thunderstorms.

Rain is expected in other parts of the country which includes the Yasawa Group, Eastern half of Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.
