Minister for Health Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete has confirmed that the Australian tourist who was evacuated from a cruise liner in Lautoka on Monday who later died did not have Novel Coronavirus.
Doctor Waqainabete says the man's results came negative for Coronavirus.
He adds that the man also did not have any history of travel to China or to any facility that has Coronavirus.
Aljazeera reports the total number of cases in China is 59,804 while 1,367 people have lost their lives.
The virus has spread to 25 other countries outside of China.
