Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua player, Asinate Serevi says she thinks women should be paid exactly as men are paid because they are playing the same sport on the field.
Serevi says in the i-taukei context, women playing a male-dominated sport is against their cultural protocols, yet they do what they are passionate about and women should not be seen in a different way.
She adds, as a team, they are working together during training and giving their best in order to defend their Super W title.
Serevi says representing Fiji internationally is something that she is so passionate about, and that is the reason she came back to play for the Fijiana Drua team.
