The performance was not the smoothest from Thomas Tuchel’s rotated side, but Harry Kane delivered when it mattered.

Kane scored in the 74th minute from a Bukayo Saka corner, then added a second with a header from Marcus Rashford’s cross, taking his international tally to 78 goals.

With this win, England become the first European team to play at least six qualifiers, win every game and not concede a single goal.
