England beat Spain on penalties to win Euro 2025

England have defended their European title and made history as the first English team to win a UEFA Women’s Euro final tournament on foreign soil, defeating Spain 3-1 on penalties this morning.

The match ended 1-1 after extra time.

England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton saved two penalties in the shootout.
