Warrant Officer, Ivamere Kanawale could not put her emotions into words after receiving 50th Anniversary of Independence Commemorative medal from the President Jioji Konrote.

Kanawale who was part of the first batch of women to be recruited in the RFMF in 1988 says she is proud and honoured to be receiving this special honour.
