Ellington Wharf in Rakiraki nears completion

Good news as Ellington Wharf in Rakiraki nears completion, with 90 percent of the work completed and other aspects of the project progressing smoothly.

The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that critical works on the project are expected to be finalised by November 21st, with the jetty tentatively scheduled to open to the public on November 22nd.

They adds that the contractor will complete minor finishing touches before the official reopening.

The FRA says that once reopened, the upgraded jetty will provide safer and more efficient access for people, transport operators, and local businesses, enhancing connectivity and supporting economic growth in the region.
