The Fijian Elections Office has so far recorded 12,900 new registrations for next year’s elections while 84,000 people have upgraded their voter cards.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says they have recorded 96,926 engagements with voters and are close to meeting their target of 100,000 before the end of the year.

Saneem says they have expanded their services in the Northern Division and today upgraded the voter card of former national 7s star William Ryder.
