Eid-ul-Fitr reminds us of the strength of our diversity and the values of inclusivity, understanding and respect that define our nation.

This is the message from National Federation Party Leader, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, as Fijians prepare to celebrate the festival tomorrow.

Prof. Prasad extends his best wishes to all those marking the occasion, saying Eid is a time of faith, compassion and gratitude.

He says it brings people together and we should all share in the joy of our fellow citizens.

The Minister urges Fijians to use the occasion to reflect on the spirit of giving and support those in need.

He wishes all a joyous and blessed Eid.

He says may this occasion bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone's home and to our beloved Fiji.
