The Melbourne Storm were supposed to make history last night by being the first NRL team to ever win 20 straight games but it was cut short as they went down 22-10 against the Parramatta Eels.

Adding to the potential fallout, star Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr went off in the 48th minute with a minor hamstring injury.

Recalled Eels winger Blake Ferguson bagged a double as the rejuvenated Parramatta took their opportunities to break the Storm wall.

Other tries for the Eels came from Haze Dunster and Joey Lussick.

In other results last night, the Cowboys beat the Dragons 38-26 and the Sharks defeated the Broncos 24-16.

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles will meet the Bulldogs at 3.50pm today and the Panthers will face the Wests Tigers at 6.05 tonight.
