Education Ministry to make arrangements for school furniture
Education Minister Rosy Akbar

The Education Ministry will work with the Divisional Education Office in the North and Heads of Schools to assess the extent of damage to schools and obtain a list of students needing assistance with school stationery.

Education Minister Rosy Akbar says the Ministry will make arrangements for school furniture as many desks and chairs have been damaged by the recent cyclones and flooding.

Akbar adds they will continue to work towards the benefit of all Fijian students.

Meanwhile, schools in the North will remain closed until further notice while schools in the Central, Eastern and Western Division will open tomorrow.
