The Ministry of Education has received 300 tablets from Pleass Global Ltd.

Minister for Education Premila Kumar says the donation will complement the Ministry’s effort in resourcing schools with IT devices.

Kumar says gone are the days where computer lab was the only place where one could access computing devices.

She adds there are now gadgets such as tablets and laptops readily available which must be used in classrooms to make learning and teaching exciting and enjoyable for students.

Kumar assured the donors that the tablets will be distributed in a fair and equitable manner and will ensure that students are the actual beneficiaries.

Kumar also thanked Pleass Global Ltd for other support which they have been providing towards education at the community level.
