Eastern Blues beat Western Maroons 10-8 to win first FNRL State of Origin match

Eastern Blues has won the first of three Fiji National Rugby League Pherrus Vanua State of Origin matches against Western Maroons 10-8 at the ANZ Stadium last night.
National Under 20 rep, Jone Nabetelevu and Ilisavani Jegesa scored a try each for the Blues.
Kelemedi Waqa for scored the lone try for the Maroons.
The second Origin match will be on the 17th of October at Churchill Park and the final match will be on the 21st of November at Churchill Park.
