Earthquake felt in Rakiraki and Nausori this morning

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake was felt in Rakiraki and Nausori this morning.

The centre of the quake was located 144km North of Ba with a depth of 10.2 km.

We have received calls from people living in Rakiraki and Nausori that the tremor was felt for about 3 to 4 seconds.
