Some buildings along Robertson Road and Fort Street have been evacuated due to fire at the Jai Santaram Warehouse along Robertson Road this morning.
Authorities have evacuated nearby buildings which includes Capricorn Hotel and Reverend John Hunt Building.
Four fire trucks are at the scene as fire fighters work to control the blaze.
Our reporter on the ground, Iva Danford has confirmed that the fire was quickly spreading to nearby buildings.
Fijivillage has received confirmation that the fire spread to Lotus Garments Manufacturing.
The fire started at around 7.15 this morning.
Police have closed off Robertson road, Nina Street, Stewart street and Saint Fort Street due to the fire.
This has also caused major traffic jam along Edinburgh Drive and Waimanu Road.
