Dubai 7s: Nakoci scores twice as Fijiana beats Great Britain 17-15

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team have made it three straight wins in pool play beating Great Britain 17-15.

Alowesi Nakoci continued her fine form from last week scoring two back to back tries in the first half.

Great Britain hit back with a try and took the Fijiana side to the wire scoring another try mid-way in the second spell.

Reapi Ulunisau found herself sprinting to the try-line off the back of a set-piece play to give Fijiana a 17-10 lead with two minutes of play remaining.

Great Britain kept mounting pressure late in the second half, eventually scoring an unconverted try as the final buzzer sounded.

Fijiana plays their last pool game against France at 8:29pm today.

In other results;

USA beat Ireland 19-12, Australia thrashed Canada 52-0 and Russia beat Spain 38-17.
