The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team suffered their first loss at the Dubai 7s going down to Russia 27-19.
Russia dominated the Fijiana side and starved them of possession scoring a total of five tries in the game.
Fijiana managed to get 3 tries in the game through Ana Maria Naimasi, Sesenieli Donu and Reapi Uluinasau.
Looking at the results of the Fijiana's other games, the national side beat Ireland 28-12 and defeated Canada 28-26.
The Fijiana will play their last pool game against Great Britain at 9.07pm today.
The women’s bronze final will be at 2.07am Sunday while the final will be at 2.57am Sunday.
