According to Police, the man was driving along Sukanaivalu Road yesterday when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a 40-year-old account clerk who was standing on the roadside.

The victim is currently admitted at Lautoka Aspen Hospital, while the suspect remains in custody.

In a separate incident yesterday morning, another 37-year-old man from Kuku, Bau, Tailevu, lost control of his vehicle while driving along Knolly Street and collided with a concrete retaining wall.
