Drua to try and keep momentum going when they meet Rebels

After back-to-back wins against the Waratahs and the Force at home the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side will try and keep that momentum going as they meet the Rebels tonight.

The Drua last played the Rebels in the sixth round of the 2023 season in Suva, winning 38-28.

The Drua have now won two out of three matches against the Rebels.

Tonight Drua front rower Haereiti Hetet will go head-to-head with the highly regarded Matt Gibbon in the Rebels.

Hooker Tevita Ikanivere will play his 31st game for the Drua and will square up against Wallaby rep Jordan Uelese.

Try-scoring machine Iosefo Masi and fellow Fijian Filipo Daugunu will meet in the mid-field.

Daugunu has made 15.7 metres per kick return from his 10-kick return carries this Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season, the second highest average of any player in the competition.

The Rebels host the Drua at 8.35 tonight in Melbourne.

In other games this weekend, the Blues play the Force at 6.05 tonight, the Chiefs face Moana Pasifika at 6.05pm tomorrow while the Brumbies meet the Waratahs at 8.35pm tomorrow.
