The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua suffered their second bonus-point defeat of the season, going down 36–13 to the Waratahs tonight.

The Drua displayed great composure in the first half, matching the Tahs across the park and staying competitive in all areas of the game. They trailed 14–10 at halftime after a spirited opening 40 minutes.

The second half began with promise as the Drua looked to build on their strong first-half performance. However, a series of decisions went against them, making it difficult to maintain momentum.

The Waratahs went on to score 21 points in the second half, while the Drua were limited to a single penalty goal.

The Waratahs’ second consecutive victory boosts their position on the points table. Meanwhile, the Fijian Drua will turn their focus to their upcoming clash against the Hurricanes on 28 February in Lautoka.
