Former President of the Association Deo Narayan says it will also save money for instructors as each member pays close to $400 every year for the permits to be renewed.

The Fiji Driving Schools Association has received submissions from their members wanting the extension of driving instructors permit from one year to three years to stop the hassle of trying to renew their permits every year.

Former President of the Association Deo Narayan says it will also save money for instructors as each member pays close to $400 every year for the permits to be renewed.

He says their members pay close to $60,000 to the Land Transport Authority for the renewal of the permits.

The former president says they are in talks with LTA about the issue.
