The driver who alleged to have caused the death of a woman in her 60s following an accident along Buca Bay Road near Vatudamu will front the Labasa Magistrates Court today.
He has been charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death.
The man, while driving on Tuesday morning, is alleged to have failed to negotiate a bend along Buca Bay Road, resulting in an accident.
Meanwhile, LTA is strongly reminding all drivers to adhere to road safety measures and value the lives of passengers, as no destination is worth a life lost.
The national road death toll currently stands at 26 compared to 24 for the same period last year.
