A 23 year old man, alleged to have caused the death of a 35-year old man following a road accident in Westfield, Nadi on Monday has been charged.
The man died at the scene and his body was retrieved from the wreckage with the help of the National Fire Authority.
The man’s wife and son were conveyed to the Nadi Hospital and later transferred to the Lautoka Hospital where they remain admitted.
The accused has been charged with one count of drunk driving and one count of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death.
