The driver of the vehicle that allegedly hit a 10-year-old girl in Nasinu last night resulting in her death, has been questioned and released.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the girl had allegedly crossed the road near the Yaka Street junction in Nasinu at 10pm last night when she was hit by the vehicle.
Police say they are also awaiting the vehicle inspection from LTA as the Traffic Unit in Nasinu is still investigating the accident.
Police have also confirmed that the post-mortem is yet to be conducted.
We have received information that the parents of the 10-year-old girl were with her when she allegedly ran across the road.
