The driver alleged to have caused the death of a 48-year-old woman in a motor vehicle accident in Serua on Friday has been charged.
Police have confirmed the 36-year-old man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death.
The 48-year-old woman of Rewa Street in Suva had passed away after the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a truck near Serua last Friday morning.
Police say it is alleged the suspect lost control of the vehicle and collided with a truck.
He will be produced in Navua Magistrates court tomorrow.
