Drinks allegedly spiked at party, police investigate
Police are investigating an incident where three young women allegedly had their drinks spiked during a drinking party in Tamavua last week.

Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said one of the victims reported the matter to police following which the matter is being investigated.

According to Sokomuri, the three, aged 21 to 23 years old, were drinking with a group of men in a house in Tamavua when the alleged incident took place.

He said police are also trying to establish whether the young women were sexually assaulted.

Members of the public are once again reminded to refrain from drinking with strangers and to be alert while in nightclubs or attending house parties.
