Residents of Wainikoro, Naibulu, Malawai and Muanidevo in Dreketi have received much needed relief supplies.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama together with some members of cabinet and government officials distributed food rations to the residents.

Bainimarama also paid a surprise visit to Year 12 students of Nadogo Central College before they sat for their Vernacular paper.

Eventhough the exam was optional, Nadogo Central College recorded a 100% turnout for the Year 12 and 13 students.

Nadogo Central College is also being used as an Evacuation Centre.

A government delegation led by Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum also visited Kia Island and distributed food supplies and other essential items.

There are 45 houses in Yaro Village on Kia Island and only 2 houses are left standing after TC Yasa.
