Dreketi Central College retains the Macuata Zone 2 title

Dreketi Central College has retained the Coca-Cola Macuata Zone 2 title after winning 40 gold, 33 silver and 17 bronze medals.

Dreketi College came in first place in the boys’ division with 14 gold, 16 silver, and 10 bronze, Labasa College came in second place with 11 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze while Seaqaqa Central College came third with 5 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze.

In the girls’ division, Dreketi Central College came in first place with 25 gold, 16 silver and 7 bronze, Ahmadiyya Muslim College came in second place with 8 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze and Tabia Sanatan College came in third with 8 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze.

Dreketi Central College Manager Makerata Marama says they are happy that they have achieved their target of retaining their title for the third time.

She says they are looking forward to competing with other Northern schools in the upcoming Northern Zone Competition.
