A double storey concrete house was partly burnt at 10 this morning in Kauvula place in Kinoya.
The owner of the house Daniel Swami says he had taken his wife to the hospital in the morning when neighbors called him and informed him that his house was on fire.
He adds that he doesn’t know how the fire started and is waiting for a report from the National Fire Authority.
Swami and his family are currently staying with their neighbors but will move in with relatives soon.
Swami says his wife is very sick and he is currently asking for assistance from the government.
