Tailevu Provincial Council Chairman Rusiate Tudravu

We don’t need to rely too much on the Government, we need Tailevu to stand on it’s own two feet.

This was the message by the Tailevu Provincial Council Chairman Rusiate Tudravu to the representatives of the 22 Tikina during the Council’s meeting at Nasautoka Village in Wainibuka, Tailevu.

He says they have a strategic plan in place, and if they follow their plan, everything will fall into place.

Tudravu says the Tailevu Company is in operation now, and it will benefit the province as a whole.

The Chairman adds that most of the issues that were raised from the Tikina meetings, are also issues that have been raised in previous provincial council meetings.

Tudravu also reminded the members if their people raise issues about their well-being, they as village and Tikina leaders, should look into it as it is of paramount importance.
