The Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji is calling on Hindus celebrating Ram Navami to do their prayers at home for the time being if that is possible.

This follows the announcement by the Prime Minister this morning regarding the new border quarantine case that could pose a risk of transmission beyond the border.

Sanatan Dharm President Sarju Prasad says if people still want to celebrate in their mandali then they should be following all COVID-19 guidelines.

Prasad is urging people to remain vigilant and exercise the greatest of restraint.
